I wanted the rose to be dark and mysterious.  I don't know if I managed it but I liked the result anyway.

Yes, it's spring and the week before I wanted to find something suitable to celebrate. This lady is so wise living a simple life in harmony with nature. I am a bit jealous.

Peace and quiet

I painted it on February, a day I was struggling for some peace and quiet. I was much better afterwards, so here it is.
