kill the machines - be weird - be spontaneous!

We live in a mechanical world. We have been programmed from our very first moments with the musts and the shoulds of a society that prefers quantity upon quality, that sees life as "thing", that kills too easily and without guilt if noone sees and turns at the other side all day long.
I remember an ad of a robot who wished to be a human, congrats to the artist who thought of "him", and I wonder who is better right now: the sensitive robot or the emotionless human and what that robot would say about now that we have overcome ourselves in self- and planet-destruction.
The word "human" in greek is "anthropos", which means "the one who sights upwards". I suppose it's time to change our name to something else less high-flying and less painful.
